Obligation, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), a Delaware corporation,
operates Olly ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we
collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI assistant
service.
Information We Collect
When you use Olly, we may collect the following types of information:
Phone Numbers: We collect your phone number to
deliver our service via SMS, iMessage, or other messaging platforms.
Message Content: We collect the messages you send to
and receive from Olly to provide our AI assistant service and improve
your experience.
Documents and Files: When you share PDFs, images, or
other files with Olly, we process and temporarily store this content
to provide you with summaries, analysis, or answers to your questions.
Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized usage data
through services like LogRocket and Google Analytics to understand how
our service is used and to improve it.
Google Account Integration
When you connect your Google account to Olly, we may access the
following Google services to provide productivity features:
Gmail: We access your emails to help you read,
search, summarize, draft, send, and organize messages through Olly.
This enables features like email summaries, drafting and sending
responses on your behalf, and organizing your inbox (for example,
marking messages as read, archiving, or applying labels) when you ask.
Google Calendar: We access your calendar to help you
view, create, and manage events. This enables features like checking
your availability and creating new appointments.
How We Handle Google Data
Access: We access your Gmail and Calendar data only
when you request actions through Olly, such as reading emails, sending
messages, or managing calendar events.
Use: Google data is used solely to fulfill your
requests and provide the productivity features you initiate. It is
never used to develop, improve, or train AI or machine-learning
models, and never for advertising.
Storage: We do not retain copies of your Gmail
messages, calendar events, or other Google account data on our
servers. We fetch this data from Google in real time to fulfill your
request and discard it after responding. Any content from your Google
account that Olly includes in its replies to you becomes part of your
message history, which is subject to the retention and deletion
policies described in this Privacy Policy.
Sharing: We do not sell or rent your Google data. We
transfer it only to the AI processing providers (such as Anthropic and
OpenAI) that power Olly's assistant features, and only to generate the
response you requested. These providers are bound by their API terms
not to use your data to train or improve their models, and they may
not use it for any other purpose. See "AI Processing and Your Google
Data" below.
AI Processing and Your Google Data
Olly is an AI assistant, so acting on your requests can involve sending
the relevant content to AI model providers (such as Anthropic and
OpenAI) that generate Olly's responses. When that content includes data
from your connected Google account, the following limits apply:
Your Google user data is not used to develop,
improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or
machine-learning models — neither by us nor by our AI providers.
We transmit your Google data to these providers only to the extent
needed to produce the specific response you asked for, through
interfaces that do not retain it for model training.
Humans do not read your Google user data unless: (i) you give explicit
consent to view specific data; (ii) it is necessary for security
purposes, such as investigating abuse; (iii) it is required to comply
with applicable law; or (iv) the data has been aggregated and
anonymized so it no longer identifies you.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Olly's use and transfer to any other app of information received from
Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our AI assistant service
Process your requests and deliver responses
Send you reminders and notifications you've requested
Personalize your experience and learn your preferences over time
Analyze usage patterns to improve our service
Communicate with you about your account or the service
Data accessed through Google Workspace APIs is excluded from the uses
above except as strictly necessary to provide the feature you requested.
In particular, we do not use your Google data to personalize, improve,
develop, or train our models or the Service, or for analytics.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers to operate our service, including
AI processing providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic), cloud hosting
services, and analytics tools. These providers only have access to your
information as necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to
protect it. Where these providers process data from your connected
Google account, that processing is governed by the "AI Processing and
Your Google Data" section above, including the restriction against using
it to train or improve AI/ML models.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third
parties for their marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our
service to you. You may request deletion of your data at any time by
contacting us at

valid deletion request, we will delete your personal information from
our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to
protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration,
disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the
Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
Age Requirement
Our service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We
do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under
18, we will take steps to delete that information.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
